We’re Looking for Volunteers!

The Makerspace Tool Lending Library needs volunteers!   These are the kinds of help we need:

– We need help staffing the library during our weekly open hours.   We’ll make sure there is someone there to train you during your shift.  Sign up at https://signup.com/go/UNkLnqk .

– We need help repairing and maintaining tools.  If you can do that during our open hours, use the signup link above and mention in the comments that you can work on tool repair/maintenance.  But if those times don’t work, please email us at staff@make125.org or  contact us online and we’ll see if we can arrange another time!

– We can always use other kinds of help, too.  Soliciting and picking up tools, publicity, etc.  Let us know if you’d like to help some other way!   We are also looking for organizers to join our admin team!!   Email us at staff@make125.orgor  contact us online.

What is MakerSpace?

The Greenbelt Makerspace is operating as a tool lending library at 115 Centerway, Suite 108, Greenbelt MD 20770. We are in Roosevelt Center Plaza across from the Old Greenbelt Movie Theater. We opened in April of 2013 and have worked hard to develop resources and programs to engage our members in activities related to science, technology, arts, and crafts.  We depend on annual memberships, donations, grants, and sponsorships. We are a 501 (c)3 non-profit tax-exempt organization. (EIN: 81-4735855)
