Join us this Saturday, June 23, from 10 to 4 for TWO great events that were made for each other. Repair Café is a day of service to the community where our volunteer repair folk will help you fix your tired or broken stuff, to rescue it from the recycle or garbage bins. Bring your clothing, furniture, kitchen appliances, computers, jewelry, toys, etc in to the Greenbelt MakerSpace and challenge us to make it all good once again.
Or… if you have something truly of no value or redeeming qualities, bring it in to contribute to our Destruction Day! We invite kids of all ages to take stuff apart to see what is inside that makes it tick. We will salvage anything that looks interesting to a future art or craft project and send the rest to its proper final destination.
PS Volunteers are welcome to join us in making this a great community event, no experience necessary!
