Myths are like old friends: welcoming, familiar, and still able to surprise you! Winter Mythology is rich with good reading, and project-based activities keep it lively.
Grades 3-6: Choose your level of mythical immersion– read everything, read some things, or come for the crafts. This time around, we’ll make miniature temples to the four winds, make Norse knots and belts of strength, and compile booklets of the Olympians.
Grades 7+: You will also make temples and belts (see above), but also potions, dramatic recordings of the Iliad, and a paper that compares certain Norse gods to certain Greek ones. (Most definitely for myth nerds!)
