The MakerSpace hosts four FLL teams which meet weekly from now until the end of December. Each team will build and program a robot to perform various tasks in competition. They will be judged on teamwork, robot design, a research project and the actual robot competition. One of our teams (Labradoodles!) is all ready full (returning members) but three more have space:
Tuesdays – Team 1 – from 6 to 7:30 pm
Thursdays – Team 2 – from 5 to 6:30 pm (I’m hoping to make this a rookie team, for kids who have never competed before.)
Saturdays – Team 3 – from noon to 2 pm
(p.s. FLL team meetings begin the week of September 12th.)
Please note: 1) Due to competition costs, this program is $100 per child. 2) Attendance is “mandatory”. Please speak to us if there is a problem, but since the kids are working toward a competition; it isn’t fair is someone is not reliably participating. 3) Team size is limited, reserve a spot below.
