As we cruise into the end of the school year, most of the classes at the MakerSpace have also ended. (That’s means there’s lots of free space to work on your own projects!*)
This week: Tuesday, June 14 thru Sunday, June 19th we are open Tuesday thru Friday 3 to 10 pm, Sat and Sun 10 am to 4 pm.
Wednesday is Knit Night from 6 to 9 pm. (It’s also the third Wednesday of the month and Chicks with Sticks will be over at the New Deal Cafe competing in the Pub Quiz.)
Thursday, Coder Dojo meets from 7 to 8 pm.
NEW EVENT! The third Friday of the month is now Minecraft Night! From 5 to 9 pm, learn tips, tricks, mods, and challenges. (We’ll see how this works out with interest and computer availability.)
Saturday the MakerSpace will be CLOSED but come find us at the National Maker Faire!** Held at the University of the District of Columbia (Van Ness Metro Stop/Red line 11am to 6 pm)
Sunday: Animation Workshop 2 to 4 pm
* At least until summer camp starts.
**The National Maker Faire is both Saturday and Sunday; we’ll only be checking out the booths on Saturday.
