Starting after Thanksgiving, Club 125 will be switching to winter hours. The MakerSpace will still be open from 3 PM to 10 PM Tuesday through Friday, and will still open at 10 AM on Saturday and Sunday, but will close at 4 PM instead of 6 PM on weekends. All your favorite ongoing weekend events will still be happening!
We have a busy week coming up at MakerSpace. After a two-day Thanksgiving break, the space will reopen on Saturday, 11/28 with the usual Kids’ Coder Dojo from 10 AM to noon and First Lego League from 12:30 PM to 2 PM.
On Sunday, 11/29, we have an exciting special event: a Psychedolls workshop with Cynthia Swan! This is a great chance to make one-of-a-kind, handcrafted gifts for your loved ones. Cynthia will be bringing a ton of supplies, so all you need to bring is a small donation to help cover the cost– $15 is suggested.
Tuesday through Thursday, we’ll have our normal roster of events. Coder Dojo for kids will take place on Tuesday evening from 7 PM to 8 PM, and for adults from 8 PM to 9:30 PM. Wednesday will have First Lego League from 5:30 PM to 7 PM and Knit Night from 7 PM to 9 PM. Thursday will have Open Tutoring from 3 PM to 5:30 PM, First Lego League from 5:30 PM to 7 PM, and MakeWrite from 7 PM to 9 PM.
Friday, 12/4, we’ll have our monthly Game Night. Come out to enjoy fun and challenging games of strategy such as Settlers of Catan and Fluxx!
Saturday, 12/5, we’ll have our normal Coder Dojo and First Lego League followed by a special Holiday Open House! Come by from 5 PM to 8 PM to enjoy cookies, cider, and holiday crafts. We look forward to seeing you!
