Holiday Open House on Saturday, 12/5

Club 125, the Greenbelt MakerSpace, opened three years ago when husband-and-wife team George Boyce and Eva Fallon took over an abandoned dry-cleaning shop and transformed it into a STEAM-driven community space.

Ever since,  MakerSpace has offered a diverse calendar of events, meetups and workshops, from First Lego League– an annual kids’ robotics competition– to beer brewing to watercolors.

Next Saturday, 12/5, from 5 PM to 8 PM, MakerSpace will be holding a Holiday Open House. Everyone is welcome; Greenbelters who already know and love MakerSpace can come and enjoy cider, cookies, and crafts in the company of friends and neighbors. Locals and newcomers who have never heard of MakerSpace can come learn about all the club has to offer, and enjoy snacks and crafts as well.

The Open House will begin just as the Art & Craft Fair over at the Greenbelt Community Center is ending. Go support local artists and check off your holiday gift list at the craft fair, then come on over to MakerSpace to create a unique ornament and warm up with a cup of cider.

Happy Holidays from Club 125!
